Gynecological cancers, including ovarian, cervical, endometrial, and vulvar cancers, significantly impact women’s health worldwide. Ongoing cancer research in this area is focused on understanding the genetic mutations and environmental factors that contribute to these malignancies. Advances in screening methods, such as liquid biopsy, are helping to detect cancers earlier when they are more treatable. In addition, there is a growing emphasis on developing vaccines and immunotherapies for gynecological cancers, especially in the case of cervical cancer. Clinical trials are exploring new drug combinations and targeted therapies that aim to reduce recurrence rates and improve quality of life for patients undergoing treatment.
