Biography:
Vaidehi Miya is a Ph.D. research scholar at ICMR-NIRRCH, Mumbai, India, where she investigates the molecular mechanisms that shape tumor-immune microenvironment in prostate cancer. Her doctoral work focuses on the regulatory interplay between CRISP3 and PSP94 in ion channel regulation and uncovered CRISP3 as a critical modulator of purinergic signalling within the tumor microenvironment. Using a combination of molecular assays, confocal imaging, cytokine profiling, CUT&RUN and single-cell transcriptomics, her work uncovers how dysregulated secretory proteins drive immune evasion and cancer progression.
