Biography:
Prof. Dr. Somashekhar S.P., MBBS, MS, MCh (Onco), FRCS Edinburgh, FRCS Glasgow, FARIS (Robotic), is the Chairman of MAB Aster DM Healthcare (GCC & India) and Global Director of Aster International Institute of Oncology. Leads the Department of Surgical and Gynecologic Oncology at Aster International Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, and holds a Professorship at Kings Health Partners, UK. Has received multiple accolades, including gold medals and fellowships, 300 publications, authored several oncology textbooks, and holds editorial positions in key journals. Prof. Dr. Somashekhar is a founding member of the Clinical Robotic Surgeons Association India and a mentor for Intuitive Surgicals and SSI Mantra Robotics.
