Biography:
Ritu Khanna is a medical student at the University of Manchester with an intercalated BSc in Global Health. Her research focuses on women’s health, cancer prevention, and the role of metabolic and structural determinants in disease risk. She has led projects on reproductive health literacy in India’s urban slums, racial inequities in maternal mortality, and the prognostic value of anthropometric measures in postmenopausal breast cancer. Her aim is to pursue a career in oncology and global health policy, advancing accessible, evidence-based strategies to reduce inequalities in women’s health outcomes. She is committed to research translation that improves prevention and early diagnosis worldwide.
