Biography:
Awam Mavimbela is an emerging academic and researcher with interests spanning social development, education, and psychosocial well-being. His work engages issues of labour relations, higher education policy, and the intersection of mathematics, music, and child development, with a focus on reducing anxiety and improving learning outcomes. He is also actively involved in research on media, protest reporting, and questions of race and representation in South Africa. Alongside his academic pursuits, Mavimbela contributes opinion pieces to Pan-African platforms, where he addresses youth challenges, governance, and social justice.
