Biography:
Amir Kazemi, currently a PhD student in Radiation Medical Engineering at Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran, Iran. His education is in Nuclear Engineering with a focus on radiation in medical Engineering. His research focuses on the use of brachytherapy, radiation dosimetry, and the application of therapeutic radioisotopes in cancer treatment. He is actively involved in the development of innovative intracavitary brachytherapy techniques using 131Cs and 125I liquid sources and hydrogel-based microspheres for targeted radionuclide therapy, as well as the application of hyperpolarized xenon for lung imaging. He have contributed to several scientific publications and conference presentations in the field of radiopharmaceutical therapy and computational dosimetry.
