Biography:
Alireza Bahramian earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering in 2004 and has since served as a professor at the University of Tehran. His expertise lies in interfacial thermodynamics, where he has developed several theoretical equations to predict the surface and interfacial behavior of complex fluids at liquid-liquid, liquidgas, and solid-fluid interfaces. He has held visiting professor positions at prestigious institutions, including the University of Oxford in the UK, as well as the Universities of Toronto and Calgary in Canada. Additionally, he has lectured at McGill University, teaching biothermodynamics and transport phenomena in biological systems. Dr. Bahramian is also the founder of ofBrains, a startup based in Calgary, Canada, that specializes in thermodynamic markers for diagnosing neurological diseases such as Parkinson's.
